I do not have the cooks essentials pressure cooker to test, but I would measure the dimensions of your current pot and compare them to the dimensions listed for this one. It appears that the dimensions of the cooker itself match up pretty closely with the dimensions of the insignia 6qt cooker so it may fit. You could also buy it and see if it fits and return it if it does not. I bought mine to use in a Cuisinart 6qt pressure cooker as I prefer the non coated pot and it works great, but I have never tried it on a cooker marked for 4qt.
