A:Answeri havnt tried to shred any staples. it is my opinion that if you shred so much paper that pulling staples is not doable, you would rather select a bigger model.
A:Answerhappened to us also, suggestion from bb was to add a few drops to the top of the teeth. I used my sewing machine oil which is thinner than other oils. it worked for 2 more tries so that worked, be careful to use a little and if you have a small brush like i did that works really well. didnt get any drips or spillage.
