QuestionLike several have mentioned. Only the Host screen shows up on the host.Trying to transfer from a Win7 PC to a Win10 Laptop. Nothing comes up on the Win 10 machine-does it too have EasySuite built in? Odd: Roxio CD items pop up, if you have Roxio installed

- Answer I had no problem as both computers showed up on both screens. A little confusing as to which one was the host but pretty straight forward. Make sure you use the correct program. Easy Suite was for PC but there is another one for Mac.

- Answer Unfortunately no, transfer cables, like this one, can only transfer files, not programs. You would need to install those on the new computer.

- Answer If you use Windows Easy transfer, both PCs must be on the same network (and this cable is not required). See ( http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-use-easy-transfer-in-windows-7.html ) for more detail. To use the cable, you should use the software provided. Then both PCs need not be on the same network.

QuestionHOW DO I USE THIS WITHOUT SOFTWARE!!!!Please. I just want to use this as a normal cable. My computer is broken so its running as an External HardDrive (Mac Book Pro) and I can't "turn on the software" between it and the computer Im using. Please tell me there is some way. I am a student and I need this to be fixed

- Answer I don't believe there is anyway to run the software from the broken computer. The software needs to be installed from the working computer for the OS to recognize it (unless the software you are trying to run is a simple executable).
