QuestionCan this Insignia - 6' USB 2.0 Cable connect a Samsung Blu-ray DVD player to a Smart TV ? My problem is the DVD has a HDMI and USB connection, but the TV has a USB connection only available, so I think I need a USB cable with TWO male connections Txs

- Answer Nope, seems this $30 USB cable does not have the ability to act as a standard USB cable. You must use the included software to make it work, and it will only work between two computers capable of running this software.

QuestionThe two usb connectors are not the same--one end is larger than the other. Does it matter which usb connector connects to the "old" computer vs the "new" computer? Trying to transfer files from an old Windows 7 computer to a new Windows 10 computer.

- Answer This is a data transfer cable...you're going to need a regular connection cable, unless you're moving some type of files between a sound bar and a movie projector? There's way better, and much better priced, cables for hooking up a sound bar to a movie projector.

- Answer Sorry I can't answer that specifically. I know little to nothing about macs. But if it is of any help, my daughter borrowed the cable and transferred photos from an older Windows laptop to her new Apple computer.

Your files and folders will appear on it and the transfer must be done through this software.
