I thought the cake option was ridiculous but of course I had to try it. I didn’t read any instructions prior to. I just whipped up a Betty Crocker cake mix for testing purposes, poured it in, closed it, plugged it in and hit the cake button! And POOF like magic I had a perfectly moist cake. No need to worry about timing it because it just shuts off automatically when it’s done. I let it stay in there for several hours to cool. I was assuming it was going to stick at least a little bit but it didn’t at all. I flipped it right on to a cake plate and iced it. It was perfect!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did one with the cake button and had to put it back in for ten more minutes. Yet when I tried another one I set it on manual for 30 minutes and it came out perfectly. I still haven't figured that out. Always make sure to put something under the pan you are cooking your cake in so it won't be directly in the water and make sure to cover it tightly with tinfoil unless you have the stacking pans with lids. I made a strawberry cake and it came out with so much flavor..
