I don't have an instant pot, but as I am looking, I find no difference. Buttons are the same, the recipes for an instant pot work perfectly. I am really pleased with the price and the way this machine works. I was skeptical about everyone raving about them, but so happy I decided to take the plunge. Food is moist and cooked beautifully in no time at all. For the price on this, I am very happy.
