“Is the stand supposed to stand on the baseplate inside the cooker? Mine is too wide for its legs to stay on the base plate but not wide enough for the legs to go in the gap between the baseplate and the outer wall of the cooker. So it's never level.”

• Yes it has to stand on the baseplate if you are using it
