  • QuestionIs there a way to tune the hinge tension? The lid flys open with ridiculous amount of force compared to any other chest freezer. This is the first time I have had an empty freezer almost tip over just from opening the lid.

    • Answer I don’t think so; never was a concern for me. I mean the price is right for what it is. A higher price might get you a better lid.

    • Answer I am using mine at the garage. There are ambient temperature limits for which it will operate, but as long as you don`t live in Texas or Canada it should be ok I guess.
