A:AnswerIt is manual defrost. I've had mine for almost a year and there's barely 1/8" frost accumulated. There is not a drain tray, but there is a drain plug (like a cooler has). I do not believe you'd have to take the food out.
A:AnswerHi, RmAC.
Thank you for pointing out this inquiry. While the unit could be stored outdoors, we do not recommend it. Our appliances are designed and manufactured to be used indoors and not doing so could cause malfunctioning of the units.

A:AnswerHi.
I seriously do NOT recommend this. As any damage to the unit would be outside of warranty. Additionally you run the risk of a refrigerant leak.

A:AnswerHi.
The freezer is 33.4 inches. The door open adds 20.5 inches to that. That's a total of 53.9 inches. I suggest 55 inches clearance.

A:AnswerTake it back and exchange it right away. There’s no trick to it, it is literally Plug & Play. If it isn’t working properly, it is likely you have a faulty compressor. Best of luck.
A:AnswerHi George.
This 7.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer does not come with a lock included or built-in.
