  • QuestionThe manual says on pg 17 in specifications, row 5,ambient temp range as fridge 37-110. On row 11 'Garage ready only in freezer mode in ambient temperatures of 0° to 110° F '. Please explain inconsistency and clarify warranty if used as fridge

    Asked by Nalini65.

    • Answer There’s no inconsistency here—according to the manual, if you're running the unit in freezer mode (with internal temperatures ranging from -11°F to 10°F), the ambient temperature must stay between 0°F and 110°F. If you're using the unit in refrigerator mode (remember, you can only run this unit as a freezer or fridge), which holds internal temperatures between 30°F and 50°F, the unit must be in an environment where the outside temperature does not drop below 37°F. It all comes down to how the compressor functions and it's needs.

  • Question1) the freezer is supposedly 'garage ready' rated 0-110 F as per manual. But manual on page 13 also says it may not operate well below 50F. Which of these statements is accurate, because they contradict each other! please provide accurate information

    Asked by asker2024.

    • Answer I cannot vouch for why on page 13 it says "If you run your freezer in an ambient temperature below 50° F, it may not operate consistently, it may not operate consistently. For example, the freezer temperature may become too warm and the contents may defrost." According to the ambient temp ranges, the freezer mode can operate in 0°F to 110°F This may be a typo, as you can see from the grammar they used.
