“Is there a way to remove an existing account from this camera? I purchased this yesterday, installed the app, associate the app with the camera, and showed a registration error. The error says an existing user is associated with my new camera.”

Thanks for sharing with us your experience setting up the WI-FI Camera, and I am really sorry for the inconvenience this has been for you. As it is true, you need an account for the setup. However, if the camera was previously setup to an account, the only way to erase the information from it, will be by performing a factory reset on the camera. That way, you will be able to link your camera to your account.
