A:AnswerI recently had purchased this speaker for my stepdad to listen to music while he was putting up roofs in the Pittsburgh area. He has only had been able to make use of it 4-5 times since I had purchased it before thanksgiving ‘17. Bitter Cold Winter has been a miserable life when you have a proprietary business that you own and your stuck working at. Anyway he was able to get about a 3 hour charge to charge lifetime out of it the first time he had used it. I hope that he was doing something wrong or was too quick to get it back plugged in because I think it would end up being a table for his natty ice soon if that’s all the speakers lifespan will be. Also I am not impressed by the sound quality of this product and it is not worth the trouble of being named in extra bass or whatever it was claiming. Personally I think I would do anything to get a different speaker set up for him especially being outside with traffic noise pollution and the banging of hammers makes this sound like a whisper. If I can do it over again I’d buy a comparable Sony or jbl speaker and let Best Buy hand these out as door prizes or giveaways for Goodwill or my girlfriend had a good time using it for a stage to dance on while music was playing on my 8 year old Sony 10 inch indoor outdoor speaker which has much better range of sound and doesn’t have any crackling like this particular 8” does at mid high volume. Hope you have a great time with a different speaker. Even discount stores or pharmacy type stores have better quality speaker than this one. I just am not impressed with this speaker whatsoever. It’s actually embarrassing that it’s a deal of the day and still $80. $25 is the sweet spot for this one. And don’t forget better be quick to get to an outlet because you can only get through five songs of Lady Gaga Fame Monster CD before good ole Intellivision , er I meant to say INSIGNIA is blinking again and then you won’t be able to get background music to accompany your awe inspiring version of Poker Face for all the friends and family to play for eternity and make you feel like hiding in a corner. Overall it’s not a good speaker in any way. Even the 5B Low next to Best Buy has better sound quality in their music selection. Good luck. Save your money and spend the extra few dollars on the mid quality brands and you can thank me later because otherwise just like the one I bought for my stepdad, that one you maybe eyeing up for a “steal” from being a Deal of the Day was outright GRAND THEFT INSIGNIA.
