“Can you brown meat in this? Can it be used with the lid off?”

• I have not used it for browning yet, but it has that function. It can be used with the lid off. For warming and slow cooking I use a glass lid from another pot (it does not come with one). All of the other settings will just boil because the temperature is set for pressure cooking, which is about 250 F.
