the power cable is approx. 5 ft long

Please try again later.The power cable between units is extremely long (I had to wrap it around the headrests to prevent it being a trip hazard), but you are not likely to reach from the front of a minivan to the back with the main power cable. I would recommend an extension power cable.

We have an older model Durango with only a plug in the front of the vehicle and it reaches to the player while they are hooked to the front seats. Still had some cord left. Don't think it would reach the very back but adapters are sold that could remedy the situation.
