Same thing happened to me. I tried converting from US voltage to UK voltage and it would only charge for a second every 6-10 seconds of being plugged in. I ended up turning the converter off and it worked perfectly fine afterwards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I first plugged the appliance into the wall I got a similar reaction. I flicked the switch from converter to adapter (or vice-versa, I don't recall) and the second option worked just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would check your laptop because most of them are dual voltage, so there is usually no need to use the convertor. You usually only need the adapter. The convertor is not designed to be used for more than 1o minutes at a time. Also it would need to draw 50 Watts or more. It is not designed to be used with devices that need less than 50 Watts.
