A:AnswerNo you can't charge anything more than a cell phone. Do not buy this product if you are traveling internationally and need a converter for a laptop, curling iron, straightener or blow dryer. Waste of money! I was steered incorrectly on this purchase.
A:AnswerI don't know, haven't been there to try it out. My daughter used it in Spain however and it made it possible for us to keep in contact through her laptop. Her friend in Japan used this same Adapter/Converter when she was studying here in the US and loved it!
A:AnswerNever bring hair dryers and curling irons on trips. They won't work when you get there and it's cheaper to buy one in the country you are visiting than to get the necessary adapters to make them work. Unless you have one designed for use with 230v.
A:Answeryes it will work in most parts of the world it will work. Now not all parts of the world has the power to make it work properly. Like I said you must watch your volts and watts, but I found it to work in many many parts of the world!
A:AnswerYou don't need a special adapter to charge your phone. Just the usb cable it came with and a USB port. If you are unsure if which wall plug adapter you need for the country you are visiting, then buy a usb wall charger when you get to that country.
A:AnswerSame thing happened to me. I tried converting from US voltage to UK voltage and it would only charge for a second every 6-10 seconds of being plugged in. I ended up turning the converter off and it worked perfectly fine afterwards.
