I have it sitting on a shelf near the window. The pins are if you want to stick it to a wall. It works beautifully in the stand.

I used the provided stand and it works great and has enough weight so it is very stable and does not tip over. You’ll need to try various locations in the rom you plane to place it in to determine where you get the best signal.

We decided to use the double back stickies to put on the wall behind our TV out of sight. It fell off the wall and is now behind our TV stand on the floor. Absolutely no difference in signal/viewing. We've left it there and has been there for 4-6 weeks. were leaving it there :-) It works that good
