• I have both and the pro Nintendo controller analogs are slightly bigger so is not a perfect fit.

• Most likely not. There are electrical contacts that stick out so that it can charge on the stand. It comes with a custom battery cover designed specifically for xbox controllers, with a cutout that exposes the contacts for charging on the stand.
