“By simply leaving the wire plugged into a wall devoid of heavy and abusive use,why does it break so quickly? I've purchased 3 for my office, bedroom & living room. All have broken within 1 week to six months.”

The 10ft has a thicker cable. Have never broken one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem, and I found that as I used the device while plugged in, I would kink the cable at the point that it connects to the device. I used a spring from an ink pen and wound it around the cable at that point and held it in place with a small rubber band. Has worked like a charm! Hope this helps!
