• Yes, this is a iphone charger with a USB port to plug your cable (USB to micro sync) to your phone. The reason this charging plug is good, is because you can switch the port cable to a tablet, android or any other type of technology cable and it will charge them also. My wife use's iphone and i still use android. We have one of these in each of our vehicals.

• Well, it charged my iPhone XS for the 1st two weeks I had it, but today quit working for the iPhone, but will charge my iPad Air 2. Go figure. Charger is only 2 Mo.'s old.
