• At first I thought the same thing. Actually you have to put all of your energy into a hard push on it and it will eventually go into the receptacle, It lands up being a very tight fit, but I'm really happy because it does not fall out or wiggle out of the car, much better than the one I used before. I think the metal sides of it are just new and overextended, but just give it a hard push and you'll see it works fine.

• When we first tried it, we also thought that it didn't fit. It will, you just have to really push it firmly into the charger. I think it's just a little stiff and it seems to get easier to put into the charger the more we use it.
