“I can’t keep the vacuum turned on. Returned the first one and on my second vacuum. I step on the red button to turn it on and once I remove my foot it stops working. Please help me figure this out so I can clean my carpet.”

The red button looks like it presses in a button that stays in when its on, and comes back out when its off. I would check to see if anything got stuck in there, HOWEVER....... My vacuum stopped working as I was using it, I checked everything over but nothing was broken. After about 2 hours it worked again. This happened a second time and when it did I felt the vacuum and it was VERY hot . I assume it overheats for some reason and shuts itself off as a safety measure. I am going to return it to the store and see about an exchange being that I have the protection plan. Hope this helps. If you don't have protection you can take it apart and see if there are any loose cables or connectors on the inside. It's just Phillips screws.
