QuestionI am a senior citizen. How difficult is this to push on an average pile carpet?

- Answer It is a little hard to vacuum carpeting because the suction is so great, which is one of the things I like about it the most because I have a German Shepherd and two cats that shed a lot! If it gets too hard to push on the carpeting I just reach down and grab the handle that holds the canister and give it a little lift which helps. My carpeting is Berber, and I also am a senior citizen, if that’s any help at all. It is also easy to empty the canister and I am still very pleased with my purchase!

- Answer This is the most STUPID design flaw, I thought I was doing something wrong, it takes all the power away from the tool and pet brush attachment, The suction for the attachments is just not a good design. AND why would you want the roller & brush to keep going while your using the tools, Besides wearing out the motor & brush, you could hurt yourself as lifting the vacuum it could catch you or piece of your clothing. The guy who designed this is a true Moron. How hard could be to have a switch to stop the main Rollers & have all power & suction going to tool hose. ?????? Sometimes I think most people are just f....ing stupid. Obviously we have a lot of bright people out there but......some have no common sense. Now I know I will have to return.

- Answer The vacuum is no more/or less noisy than any other vacuum. As a matter of fact my little Eureka stick vacuum makes more noise than this machine. All in all a good vacuum for the money.

QuestionHow many amps is this? I doubt if it is only 72 watts as stated. 72 watts is only .6 amps. Most good plug in vacuums are 12 amps 20 times stronger.

- Answer Yes but with no way to adjust the beater bar height I wouldn't recommend it. Over time it might cause scratching to the finish.

QuestionI can’t keep the vacuum turned on. Returned the first one and on my second vacuum. I step on the red button to turn it on and once I remove my foot it stops working. Please help me figure this out so I can clean my carpet.

- Answer The red button looks like it presses in a button that stays in when its on, and comes back out when its off. I would check to see if anything got stuck in there, HOWEVER....... My vacuum stopped working as I was using it, I checked everything over but nothing was broken. After about 2 hours it worked again. This happened a second time and when it did I felt the vacuum and it was VERY hot . I assume it overheats for some reason and shuts itself off as a safety measure. I am going to return it to the store and see about an exchange being that I have the protection plan. Hope this helps. If you don't have protection you can take it apart and see if there are any loose cables or connectors on the inside. It's just Phillips screws.

- Answer Make sure the handle is placed all the way in. You shpuld hear a click once it is fully in. The screw hole shpuld be seen if its all the way in. Best of luck
