A:Answer No, the usb port on your printer is more than likely for data (Such as printing word documents or pictures direct from a media device. Ex: flash drive). If you want to print from your macbook, you'd have to see if your printer is wireless. If it is, i'd recommend going to the official hp website and downloading the correct drivers to your macbook, keep in mind wireless printing is done through wifi, so it'll need to be connected to the network.
