“book says 4 lights stay on when charged, other poster says different. Which is it how long to fully charge? Do I have to keep pressing battery button to find out when it is done charging?”

It does not stay lit when chargimg or charged, you will need to press the power bank button to determine if its remaining battery life. Not sure how long it takes to charge. I did have issues charging My first unit, i left it on the charger for some time and the battery indicator did not go up., that prompted me to exchange it for another, which works as intended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The lights on the back only come on when you push the button underneath them to determine the amount of power left in the battery. In the instructions it says 40 hours play time, I have not gotten that out of it but then again I play mine loud so that might make it have less play time. Still, I get 15 to 20 hours of playtime per charge and have found it takes mine about 3 hours to fully charge from 2 to 4 lights.
