• somewhat difficult to fit into the slots on Nikon cool pix...but salesperson in best buy helped...................it works.............and it is perfect!!!

• Yes the end of the strap is small enough. It gets smaller at the ends to fit through the slots . I love this strap on my canon.

• Yes, the strap will work just fine on a Canon. The strap is very sturdy as well.
