Fold the tablet case in half towards the back with the flap that latches it flipped to the back. There are magnets in the flap that will hold the cover in that position. The tablet is held in the case by 4 plastic corners and they are attached to a solid backboard. That backboard extends past 2 of the corner holders and not the other two. With one finger push any of the corners of the backboard. It slides easily in a complete circle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not set up vertically with this cover and while I did have instructions, nothing was mentioned about a vertical set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It "holds" the tablet only in landscape position above the keyboard. You could remove the tablet from the corner tabs and rest it against the angled support while in use, then tuck it back in the tabs before storing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It rotates using a circular magnet. Very easy to pull it off backstand and rotate to any desired position. You won't break it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The tablet and the portion it attaches to is able to rotate 360 degrees which does allow for a vertical setup. The additional pictures on Best Buy does show the case setup this way to give you a better idea of how it rotates. There is no additional instructions for the tablet case.
