Yes, I wash my hands a lot throughout the day for work and it's done great

Under normal wear yes. If you plan on wearing this in the ocean or using around harsh chemicals it is not advised. The way the metal and the color is bonded means that it will cone off if nicked or chipped and salt water and harsh chemicals will erode the color much quicker. I havent come across any watch bands that are colored that use a full color blend in the metal itself. Stick to standard stainless steel bands if you want the band to stay nice longer.
