I think so because it has the old school connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using the converter box to record on old vcr. Works excellent. You have to set the box to the channel you want to record not the vcr. This isn't a problem unless you want to record multiple programs on different channels. But this is the only thing that works with old vcr and is less expensive than tivo or other options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES!! I bought this item to connect a Mohu Leaf antenna to my VCR/DVD recorder/player to my TV because the VCR did not have a "cable in" jack and my TV didn't have AV out jacks. The TV is about 8 years old, the VCR about 10. Essentially, you hook up the Insignia converter in the same manner as your cable box was hooked up. For my TV, here are the specifics. I connected the Mohu input to the Cable In jack on the Insignia. I then used a second coax cable to attach the "cable out" jack on the converter to the "ant in" connection on my TV. Meanwhile, I used a 3-pronged cable to attach from the "audio video out" jacks on the converter to "audio video" in on my DVD/VCR. Finally, I used another 3-prong cable from the audio/video out jacks on the DVD/VCR to the audio/video in jacks on my TV. I ran the converter setup, then selected the desired channel. I selected the video input connection on my tv, and was able to watch the program while taping it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should be able to record your shows.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you should be able to connect to it without any problems. The only thing that might be a problem is a VCR that isn't operating properly...age tunning bands out.
