“Can the power cord charge the switch directly like the switch oficial dock can?”

• Yes. It will charge the system while you play it. I will say, however, that you should be careful using a 3rd party Switch dock at the moment. My Insignia dock has worked perfectly but since the Switch 5.0 update more and more people have reported having a 3rd party dock damage their Switch. The major offender seems to be the Nyko dock, but I have heard of users claiming the Insignia dock damaged their Switch. Be careful. Apparently Nintendo is aware of this and is working on it, but has officially stated that your Switch is not protected when using any 3rd party accessories. Again, my Insignia dock has given me no trouble at all, but it is something to be aware of.
