Is it safe with the 7.0 update? null

We updated our Switch last night to 7.0 and the Insignia dock and Switch still work.

Has not bricked my Switch yet so my answer is yes.

I’m using 7.0.1 and so far so good

Safe to use with all updates to this point (2-11-19)

Yes it is compatible and has no issues
