• So far, I haven't had any issues. Although I have also not tested the overnight charge aspect of the faults on the other third party portable docks which seems to be where the problem lies with the Switch being bricked.

• I used this a few days ago to play Disgaea 5 on the TV for about 4 hours with no problem. I think it may just be the Nyko docks, which there was already a problem with those.

• Updates do not do anything to the dock. So yes it’s safe to use as I am using this now with all and future updates
