• It will not fit on the charger with the headset adaptor plugged in. They do have a dual charger that plugs in upside down that works good too. I bought this one to display my elite controller.

• Yes, I have to remove it to charge. It does allow you to charge without removing the paddles, however, which is more convenient for me personally.

• Yes, the adapter must be removed to allow the controller to rest on the charger.
