“Does the camera save the video if unplugged from power while recording? Does it show a prompt on next powerup in order to "recover" video? Wanting to avoid having to click "OK" everytime car turns on because the camera was interrupted when car shuts off”

Yes, it will save the video in the memory card immediately when unplugged from power; there is not prompt on the screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My camera gets turned on and off with my ignition quite often per day. I don't push any buttons or do anything extra. About once a week I take the sd card to my computer to make sure everything is going ok. So far it's been recording and stopping flawlessly. From what I understand the cameras have super capacitors in them that store a tiny bit of power, just enough to save video after power has been removed. The only issue I had was at first I forgot to format my new sd card through the camera. Before I formatted, it was recording quite sporadically. After format it works like a dream...
