It depends on the memory size you decide to go with as it has no internal memory. I personally have a 64 gb memory card and it loops every 4 hrs of recording which comes up to several weeks of driving for me. My daily commute is less than 30 minutes excluding weekends.

Also worth noting you can retrieve the files by putting the memory card in your computer but you can't manipulate / delete individual recordings (except to delete all by formatting the card) anywhere but with the dash cam because anything other than the dash cam sees the memory card as a Read Only file system. To give you a better idea on file size, set at 1080 for both front and rear cameras yields 623MB front and 454MB rear MP4 recordings for a 5 minute recording interval. I haven't and don't plan to record at lower video quality so I can't speak to file sizes at lower resolutions, but you could save some space if all you were interested in was the front view by lowering the rear camera resolution (doesn't appear you can turn it off entirely). So for sizing of your memory card.. you can figure on about 1.1 GB for every 5 min of recording at 1080 resolution for both front and rear cameras. If you're wanting a video recording of a trip ( i.e. a fun twisty road like Tail of the Dragon ) to save you'll also likely want a program you can join the clips together into one video.
