• Yes sir, you can use any power source. The camera comes with a cigarette lighter plug-in/DC adapter, but thankfully the Mini USB - to - USB-A cable is detachable from that adapter. You can just get rid of the DC adapter and plug the USB-A end into a proper charging brick/wall adapter.

• The dash cam has a Micro USB jack. The box includes a vehicle power adapter for a 12V vehicle power socket. Try a Vehicle Charger with 2 USB Ports.
