The cable connections are the same as the cables I have for my Samsung J3 phone and my Jabra Bluetooth headset, so yes you can easily get a second cable.

The camera uses a micro USB connection, which is pretty common. You can easily buy any micro USB cable (provided it is long enough) and use it with your unit.

I actually move my dash cam between vehicles so I simply take the whole unit (camera/mount, cable and power supply). Note that I actually use a portable power bank to provide power instead of the cigarette lighter power adapter, but any quality adapter works just fine.
