I think it only supports up to 32 gig card..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is possible that you have a bad dash cam or a bad memory card, but I rather doubt it. I think that the problem is with the size of the card. The manual specifiies a card between 8 GB and 32 GB. There is an electronic (but not physical) difference in the cards above 32 GB capacity. When the original SD (and microSD) cards became popular the design allowed sizes only up to 2 GB. Several years ago as the demand for higher capacity was grew, SDHC (SD High Capacity) cards were developed which could go up to 32 GB, but only devices designed for the SDHC cards could use them. The new cards would fit in the old devices but could not be used in them. Then a couple of years ago, the process repeated. Even more capacity was demanded, and SDXC (SD Extended Capacity) cards appeared with capacities of 64 GB and above. Again, only devices designed for SDXC cards could use them. Unfortunately, I suspect that is what is going on in your case. I have this dash cam and am quite pleased with it in general, but I have not tried a card larger than 32 GB. If the card size is indeed your problem, the limitation to 32 GB memory cards is an unfortunate constraint. Otherwise I am quite pleased with it. I carry extra cards with me in case I come to a situation where I might need more memory. At maximum quality I believe that I can record for a little over three hours before it begins erasing the oldest recordings that have not been protected. If I am correct, you will need to get a 32 GB or lower capacity card to use the dash cam. The 64 GB card is SDXC and will snap into the camera just fine, but the camera is not able to access it. If you have any Geeky friends, I am confident that they would be happy to swap a 32 GB card for your 64 GB; the 64 GB cards are more expensive. If you got the card at the same time you got the camera, the store might be willing to help you out as well. Just be aware that not everyone who deals with this product will appreciate some of these finer points. I wish you good luck, and I think that with the right card you will probably like this dash cam. I had two or three others before I got this one, and this is the first one that I feel that I can rely on.
