QuestionCan I use this with my office console phone made by Mitel, I currently plug the cord that usually goes in to a junction box but that hasn't worked for some time but it is right in the side of the console.

- Answer You don't plug in the base. You plug in the handset. If you don't have a jack on the handset, it won't work

QuestionDoes this headset have to be plugged into the base to work? Meaning do I have to stay close or can I wonder about the building completing my tasks with the headset on?

- Answer First of all you have to have a 2.5 mm Jack hole to plug it into. I have Panasonic cordless phones and most models have a jack hole on the handsets that the headset plugs into so you can roam the building hand free with the handset in your pocket. Check your handset for the jack hole. They do sell adaptors for 3.5 to 2.5 mm jacks.

- Answer yes it has a cord it isn't wireless, just make sure your phone has the port
