“Will this work in the dvd player/entertainment console of a car? The description says not for slots. I've read post were people were using it for their car cd players.”

This could probably be shoved into a car's CD slot, but the little bristles on the underside would probably keep it from working correctly. It's thicker because of those bristles and needs room.
