A:Answer My wife uses it with her Insignia Fire TV, and it works fine; just connect to USB port. When using a search function on an app, she just types instead of using cursor keys on the pop up keyboard. Don't know about other smart tv's, but not all the apps on a Fire TV are compatible. On the home page, the cursor keys will work, but not the keyboard itself.
