“I have Bose surround sound on the tv. Do I need an adapter or anything special to hook up the headphones?”

• I have a "Smart" TV. When the earphones are plugged in the TV sound is muted. BUT, I too have surround sound and with this I can hear audio with the earphones as well. Nothing special to hook up.
