Thank you for your inquiry! The “E” displayed on the bottom right corner of your Insignia™ Portable Clear Ice Maker with Auto Shut-off typically signals an error code, most often related to a water supply issue or a malfunctioning internal sensor. Even if you've already drained and refilled the water, the machine might still detect a problem if the water level is too low, the sensor is dirty or misreading, or there’s a blockage in the system. To troubleshoot, try unplugging the unit for a few minutes to reset it, then plug it back in. Make sure the water level is within the recommended range and that the ice basket is properly seated. You can also gently clean the water sensor and internal components to remove any mineral buildup. In some cases, holding the power button for several seconds may reset the error. If the “E” code remains after these steps, the issue may require service or support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
