Q: QuestionIs this unit self-cleaning? If not, how do you clean it? And, where is the drain? If the drain is on the bottom, please state where on the bottom - front, back, right, left, etc. And, is it possible to hook this machine to a water line? Thanks.

• A:Answer There is a self cleaning feature that runs its cycle but you can also add lemon juice to clean and toss out the next few batches after. The drain is towards the front right side of the unit. And no to the water line, there is a reservoir to store water in.

To troubleshoot, try unplugging the unit for a few minutes to reset it, then plug it back in. Make sure the water level is within the recommended range and that the ice basket is properly seated. You can also gently clean the water sensor and internal components to remove any mineral buildup. In some cases, holding the power button for several seconds may reset the error. If the “E” code remains after these steps, the issue may require service or support.
