A:AnswerThese headphones must plug into the unit - they are not wireless - so you can only go as far as the headphone wire extends. Not sure how far that is bc had to return the radio (would not shut off without removing the batteries), but it was a lot less than 50 feet - perhaps 4-6 feet.
