• You have to take the ice out and out it in the freezer. It recycles the same water when the ice cubes melt.

• Yes it keeps it after it is made. I will leave it over night and the bottom melts a bit but then it reuses the water to make more ice.

• The ice will stay frozen, or good for several hours, but will eventually melt if you do not take it out.
