If your tv has rca output you could purchase an rca to 3.5mm adapter, and that should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's possible your speakers are picking up ambient electromagnetic interference (EMI) from something that is near them. If you have other, older electronic equipment or cheap fluorescent lighting near by, that could be causing the problem. It might also be coming through your home's electrical wiring--particularly if it your circuit breaker box isn't grounded properly and/or the outlet you're plugging the speakers into. If you have a long extension cord, try plugging the speakers into an outlet on the other side of the house. It will isolate the speakers from anything else using that particular electrical circuit (not completely, but enough that if you see a difference, you'll know it's something else you have plugged in on that same electrical circuit). Hope this helps :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On this ,if your adapter is small enough for headphone it should be okay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use mine for tv as well and I have no problems. what is this extra noise you speak of?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might want to try another cable first. If that doesn't help, try turning the volume up on the TV and turning the volume down on the speakers to increase the signal level of the TV to speakers. You may also look at the manual of the TV and see if there is a setting in the menu for High/Low output on the headphone jack. Honestly, given a 40" TV, I would not use the headphone jack in favor of RCA style audio outputs (red and white out) I'm sure the TV has.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I assume these speakers are 3.5mm jacks. Look on the back of your TV and see what type of audio out ports are available. If you have 3.5mm out just plug it in an you are good. If there are there are other audio out then you can buy the appropriate connectors or converters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Shut off the internal speakers tv
