I've dropped my phone several times and no damage. The phone fell straight to the ground and I only mention this because if the screen hit the edge of a counter or something else that was hard, it's possible the screen could get damaged. There is a lip on the case that prevents the screen from hitting the ground when there are no obstructions on the way down. The case is very simple to put on and take off, but it is secure once it's on the phone.

Please try again later.This case like others can develop scratches but they don’t show on my white phone, My daughter dropped her phone and the case as well as her phone survived just fine. I also find it pretty easy on and off. I like to keep my phone clean as well as the case so I take it off and wipe things down once a week.

The only reason I took it off was to clean the accumulation of debris that accumulated. I don’t know why it is important to take it off. That is why I bought one for my iPhone 11.
