“I need to connect a CD player with RCA outputs to my Sound Bar with HDMI input. I do not need the video portion. Will this unit work for that purpose?”

• The HDMI is only for the picture. It won't work. the red and white VCR cable are the ones that provide sound. Those are the ones that would connect to the sound bar.
