“Why spend $60 on this v. $15 on a MIni comparable product? I’ve looked at the specs to the greatest degree possible and cannot identify any notable difference. I cannot confirm that the Mini comes with a power source. Perhaps this is the difference.”

The fifteen dollar device may in fact work fine. I was very satisfied with the sixty dollar product. There were no schematics included to determine how the A/C power is applied to the quality or function.
